Councillor Stone wins Highly Commended Councillor of the Year 2024 award
The judges were impressed with Councillor Stuart Stone's outstanding service to his community, including restoring benches and playground equipment, supporting warden with dog waste collection, snow clearance, organising local committees, supporting residents and keeping grit bins stocked.

Cemetery Tap
The cemetery tap is switched off at the mains and Severn Trent Water are unable to switch it back on as there is a water leak at the connected site, The Commercial Inn.
They have issued the owner with a notice requesting contact so they can gain access to the premises. If no contact is made efforts will be made via the potential new owner if the inn is sold at auction next week.
